SAP has signed a partnership under which it will sell white-labeled versions of Calypso's system as SAP Capital Markets Trading and SAP Capital Markets Treasury. Initial focus is on developing markets; one objective is to revive sales of the Calypso system with SAP's Sybase database.
Small World FS is gearing up for cross-border mobile wallet funds transfer. It has signed an Africa-centric tie-up with Indian telco, Bharti Airtel. It is also due to go live shortly in a first country following a similar agreement, signed earlier in the year, with African telco, MTN Group.
Euroclear has teamed up with Ireland-based Merit Software to bring to market a service called SetClaim. Using the Euroclear infrastructure, this allows banks and brokers to match receivables and payables for more streamlined claims management. The search is now on for takers.
The ECB's Analytical Credit Dataset (AnaCredit) regulations are starting to appear on firms' radars and reporting specialist, AxiomSL, claims it is ready. Swift has announced that London has finally been selected to host its annual Sibos conference. This will be at the Excel Centre in the east of the city and will be in 2019. Among those to welcome the news is Mayor of London, Boris Johnson.
